Verifying your Salla store: documents, steps and review time

An unverified store works, but cannot enable every payment method. Here is what verification needs.

5 min read

Merchants are often surprised that the payment gateway is still inactive a week after launch. Usually one reason: verification was never completed.

What changes after verification?

An unverified store can display products and take orders, but enabling electronic payment methods and some integrations requires completed verification. Verification is not a formality — without it there is no collection of funds.

Documents usually required

  • Commercial registration or a freelance work document.
  • National ID of the business owner.
  • Bank account details in the name of the business — the most common point of rejection.
  • Genuine business contact details.

Common rejection reasons

The bank account holder does not match the registration name, the document scan is unclear, or dashboard business details do not match the registration. Check those three before submitting and you save a full review cycle.

When to start

Start verification on day one, not after the design is finished. Review takes its own time, independent of the build, and the two should run in parallel so you launch on schedule.
